Ours showed up in a PPSC order one night so Ima say TA force-shipped it to us. Comes in quite handy on any fuel system with the flat-faced connectors typically found on the fuel filter assy on DD15 & on secondary fuel filter on CAT engines. We have taken to keeping an extra nipple around & just installing it in place as needed & either billing it out or removing it after we get the fuel system reprimed. Had a 2009 Cascadia with S60 EPA07 in our shop for an overnighter due to unit shutting down & fleet leaving it set on roadside in below zero temps for 24 hrs before they towed it into our shop. 20 hours later, after thawing the fuel out, replacing the filters, & repriming the system, it ran. Then we had to remove 3 of 4 of the suspension air springs & reseat them on their pistons cuz the truck lost air to the suspension while under a trailer & was towed with trailer to our site. Geniuses like that are why I am still turning wrenches LOL Anything worth doing is worth doing well!! | ||
